A Statutory visit to a Looked After Child can only be undertaken every 3 months following a year in placement if it has been confirmed that it is the placement that the child will remain until adulthood. Otherwise it remains a 6 weekly visit.

*Under the Care Planning, Placement and Care Review Regulations (2010) the IRO must be notified of any significant changes involved a looked after child. They will then determine whether an additional LAC Review should be held.

†Prior to a child being presented to the Agency Decision Maker, a LAC Review must be held to agree the plan of Adoption and be presented to Agency Decision Maker within 2 months of this being the agreed plan.
